This popular outdoor space, known for filling up quickly, includes an outdoor bar serving frozen daiquiris on weekends and a cocktail menu available at all other times. While the daytime menu mirrors that of the original West Adams restaurant, the evening offerings crafted by partner and chef Kat are entirely new and exciting. The historic Dominick’s location, which served West Hollywood for 67 years and briefly transformed into a modern Mexican restaurant owned by Joe Jonas, has now reopened as “Amour,” a venture by nightlife impresario Thomas Fuks, known for revitalizing the former Dar Maghreb/Acabar in Hollywood. Amour exudes a seductive Parisian bistro ambiance, evident in its diverse settings, from the lush garden patio to the candlelit dining room adorned with intricate wallpaper, vintage sconces, and rich green accents. With a background at El Bullí, Chef Dany Bello-Chavez prepares Japanese-influenced French cuisine, featuring dishes like steak au poivre, chawanmushi, and exquisitely presented lobster ravioli, mirroring the restaurant’s stylish aesthetic.
