Dine L.A. Restaurant Week

What: Discover some of Los Angeles’ best dining deals during Dine LA Restaurant Week, returning August 14–28 with prix-fixe menus at more than 400 restaurants across 84 neighborhoods. The two-week culinary celebration offers the perfect opportunity to experience acclaimed restaurants at special prices, from neighborhood favorites to fine dining destinations. This season’s lineup includes newcomers like Monsieur Dior, San Gabriel Valley standouts Omaniku and Hipico, and Atwater Village favorite Dune, making it one of the best times of the year to explore L.A.’s diverse food scene.

KCON LA 2026

Where: Downtown LA 

What: Immerse yourself in Korean music, culture, and entertainment at KCON LA, the world’s largest K-pop festival. Held at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena, the three-day event features concerts, celebrity appearances, fan signings, panels, workshops, and interactive experiences celebrating all things Hallyu. This year’s lineup includes performances by NCT 127, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ZEROBASEONE, TREASURE, ILLIT, and P1Harmony, alongside dedicated K-Food, K-Story, and K-Beauty experiences.

Televerse 26

Where: Downtown Los Angeles

What: Television fans can go behind the scenes at Televerse, the Television Academy’s annual festival celebrating the best of television. Held at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE, the three-day event features free screenings, cast panels, workshops, and conversations with some of the industry’s biggest names. Highlights include appearances from the casts of Beef, Hacks, The Bear, and The Traitors, anniversary reunions for My So-Called Life, Shameless, and Band of Brothers, plus educational workshops led by acclaimed industry professionals, including actor Henry Winkler.

D23 Expo

Where: Anahiem

What: Disney fans won’t want to miss D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event at the Anaheim Convention Center. Held every two years, the official Disney fan convention offers exclusive previews of upcoming films, theme park attractions, and entertainment from Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and The Walt Disney Company. Guests can also explore exhibits from the Disney Archives, discover the latest innovations from Walt Disney Imagineering, and attend celebrity-filled presentations celebrating the magic of Disney.

The Actors’ Gang Shakespeare in the Park

Where: Palms

What: Just when you thought Shakespeare was sounding a little, well, dated, enter the Actors’ Gang. Each summer, the Culver City theater spins a different play from the Bard into a high-energy, family-friendly, and free-to-attend production, often wrapped in an irreverent theme (think everything from Toy Story to Power Rangers). This time around, Two Gentlemen of Verona gets a sci-fi twist dubbed Two Gentlebots of Verona. You’ll find the play the first four weekends in August at Culver City’s Media Park, then at the Buena Vista Branch Library in Burbank the last weekend of August.

Ferragosto at Helms

Where: Culver City

What: Experience the charm of an Italian summer at the Helms Bakery District during this free European-inspired street festival. Stroll between complimentary espresso tastings, artisan cheese and olive oil samples, fresh gelato, and live pasta-making demonstrations while enjoying live music, a beer garden, family-friendly activities, and an Italian-themed art installation. Palisades Village Reopening

Where: Palisades Village | Pacific Palisades

What: Celebrate the reopening of Palisades Village as the beloved open-air destination welcomes shoppers back following its closure after the Palisades Fire. The grand reopening features a mix of returning favorites and exciting new additions, including Erewhon, Spacca Tutto from acclaimed chef Nancy Silverton, along with LESET, Violet Grey, Loomey’s Toys, and K Bakery. Cielo Sessions

45th Annual Wings Over Camarillo Airshow

Where: Camarillo Airport, Camarillo

What: Take to the skies at the Wings Over Camarillo Airshow, a thrilling weekend celebrating the 90th anniversary of the legendary DC-3. Held at Camarillo Airport, the event features breathtaking aerobatic demonstrations, historic warbirds, military and experimental aircraft, and dramatic aerial reenactments with special pyrotechnic effects. On the ground, visitors can explore aircraft displays, a classic car show, a hands-on STEM pavilion, food vendors, and craft beer, while the Flight Line Preview offers a rare opportunity to meet pilots and get an up-close look at the aircraft before the flying begins.
