Rodeo Realty Agents Volunteer Time To Feed The Less Fortunate

This month, several Rodeo Realty agents have taken the time out to help those in need.

Throughout the month, agents have stopped by Ocean Park Community Center to lend a helping hand at one of their locations.

Agents helped the organization by working together and prepping, cooking, and feeding the less fortunate.

It is this time of the year when help is needed the most and we’re glad our agents stepped up to devote some time to those in need.

Thank you to all agents who volunteered their time!

Rodeo Realty agents, Violetta Hargitay (Pacific Palisades), Betty Galvan (Northridge) and Debra Moseley (Studio City) have been recognized for their professional excellence and exceptional client satisfaction.

Five Star Professional recognized the three agents as Five Star Real Estate Agents for 2016. For the 4th year in a row, Rodeo Realty’s Pacific Palisades agent Hargitay has received the recognition.

The research team partnered with Los Angeles magazine to identify real estate, mortgage and insurance professionals in the Los Angeles area who deliver outstanding service.

The Five Star Real Estate Agent award program is the largest and most widely published real estate agent award program in North America. Agents are measured using an objective, in-depth research methodology with significant focus on customer feedback and overall satisfaction.

The research methodology allows no more than 7 percent of professionals in each category to receive the award.

The 2016 Five Star Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Professionals and Home/Auto Insurance Professionals do not pay a fee to be included in the research or the final list.

Rodeo Realty Agent Wendy Dern Organizes Care Packages for the Troops

DSCN0846 DSCN0845

“For The Troops” is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that sends “We Care” packages to our troops in harms way, throughout the year. The packages are sent to individual service people and include little things from home; from basic toiletries, decks of cards, snacks, personal letters written by volunteers in the community, other comforts, and more.  Candy is included in every one of the more than 2000 packages sent per month.  For the last 5 years I have sponsored a candy drive to help supply this wonderful organization with as much candy as I could.  This year was a very fulfilling year as I got another school participating, (bringing me to 4 schools: Nobel Charter Middle School, Topeka Charter SAS, Gridley Elementary, and Cleveland High School “for The Troops” Club) and support from agents in the Northridge office and my farm.  I collected almost 1000 lbs. of candy.  Syd generously offered to match “dollars for candy collected” and donated to “For The Troops” organization. 100% of all donations go to sending packages to the troops, either in contents or postage.

If any of our agents or readers is interested in volunteering the organization info is below:
