Jon & Vinny's Expanding To Brentwood

Jon & Vinny’s, the casual Italian spot of interminable wait times and impossible reservations in the heart of Fairfax, is headed to Brentwood.

Eater reports the restaurant will take over Early World Restaurant on San Vicente Boulevard. Early World is still open, so Jon & Vinny’s won’t enter the space for construction and build-out until Early World’s lease agreement ends. Eater predicts this means the new restaurant will open in Summer 2018 at the earliest.

Jon & Vinny’s is the busiest of Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo’s restaurants, which include the now-iconic Animal, Son of a Gun, and Petit Trois (their partnership with chef Ludo Lefebvre). The menu at Jon and Vinny’s is far more casual than those at Shook and Dotolo’s other restaurants—it consists of pizza, pastas, and a very solid daily brunch— and is located on ever-busy Fairfax. The restaurant has drawn a wide range of local denizens ever since it opened. It’s common to see a dinner meeting of Hollywood executives next to a table of L.A. hip kids.

It’s unclear whether the new location will also be designed by architect Jeff Guga, who is responsible for the restaurant’s angular booths and light wood aesthetic.

Eater reports the restaurant will also bring along another location of Helen’s Wines. The popular wine shop from wine director Helen Johannesen currently occupies the space behind Jon & Vinny’s on Fairfax. It offers bottles to purchase on site, as well as a wine-delivery subscription.

Brentwood is slowly turning into a major pizza center for Los Angeles. Pizzana, the recently-opened pizza mecca from chef Daniele Uditi, is located a quarter-mile down the street from the future Jon & Vinny’s location.

Jon & Vinny’s will be located at 11938 San Vicente Blvd. in Brentwood.

Rodeo Realty helps OPCC feed the homeless

rodeo-brentwood-group

Instead of touring properties on Tuesday, many Rodeo Realty agents took the day to feed the homeless.

Brentwood agents showed up to the Cloverfield Services Center in Santa Monica and helped OPCC prepare and serve food to some of the community’s most vulnerable residents—homeless individuals and families, survivors of domestic violence, challenged youth, indigent Veterans, and other who have nowhere else to turn.

Agents prepared dozens of meals that included Fettuccine Alfredo, salad and bread.

In addition to volunteering, Rodeo Realty also donated $3,000 to the organization. The monetary donation will help OPCC provide almost 4,500 meals to individuals in need.

The non-profit organization relies on the generosity of volunteers and Rodeo Realty is happy to help and make a difference in the lives of others!

Next week, December 12, more Rodeo Realty agents will also be volunteering to help OPCC feed the homeless.

Rodeo Realty Expanding in Southern California

(Bel Air, Calif.) Over the past few months, Rodeo Realty has expanded the size of its Woodland Hills, Calif. office by 3,000 square feet, secured space for a new office in prime Beverly Hills, and began searching for new branch locations in Brentwood, Calif. and the famed Sunset Strip. The residential real estate firm has hired more than 100 agents in 2010 alone.

“My company gives agents an edge, by providing them with the technology and marketing tools they need to succeed in this market,” said company founder and president, Syd Leibovitch.
Rodeo’s 3,000 square foot Woodland Hills expansion accommodates 12 new private offices, six cubicles, and space for Rodeo’s affiliate company Encore Escrow. The company plans to increase the branch’s number of producing agents by 25 or more.
Leibovitch secured more than 12,000 square feet of prime Beverly Hills real estate on Cañon Drive to build-out a new office for its existing Beverly Hills operations. Once complete, the branch will house more than 100 agents.
Rodeo is searching for 10,000 square feet of office space in Brentwood, Calif. to service communities such as Santa Monica, Malibu, and West L.A. The company is also actively looking for space on the Sunset Strip. In the past few months, Leibovitch has doubled the size of his Information Technology department, and hired a new regional manager and publicist.
“Becoming a real estate agent means owning your own business, and you have to invest in your business to make it grow,” said Leibovitch. “I try to lead by example and always show that Rodeo Realty is a leader in agent support.”
Syd Leibovitch founded Rodeo Realty in 1986. It’s one of the largest independently owned residential real estate firms in California, with more than 700 agents and 10 offices in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Affiliate companies include: L.A. Mortgage, Encore Escrow and Progressive Title.
