“Star Trek: The Next Generation” actor Jonathan Frakes and his wife, soap star Genie Francis, have purchased a home in Woodland Hills.

Rodeo Realty’s Calabasas agent, Desiree Zuckerman, represented the buyers and has since made headlines for her sale, being featured in the Los Angeles Times and Variety.

The Mediterranean-vibe house has six bedrooms and seven full and two half bathrooms in more than 8,900 sq. ft. of living space.

Built in 1988, the home also includes a formal entry with a curving staircase and a colossal crystal chandelier, formal living and diving rooms, and a family room, which features a sunken wet bar and walls of windows that take in the grounds. Additional features include a paneled library/office with a coffered ceiling and a black marble fireplace.

Sitting on more than a third of an acre, the property also comes with a swimming pool, a gazebo, and lush landscaping.

The couple purchased the property for $2,800,000.

One of the nations top realtors, Desiree Zuckerman, and global stand-up star Russell Peters are hosting a charity event to raise money and awareness for MS. The event will be held at Peters’ palatial 10,000 sq. ft. Malibu estate.

The exclusive charity open house will benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Attendees will enjoy delicious food, raffle prizes, great music, clothing and jewelry shops, and complimentary yoga at sunset.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation estimates that more than 400,000 people in the United States and about 2.5 million people around the world have MS. About 200 new cases are diagnosed each week in the United States.

All proceeds raised at the charity event will help MS Focus continue providing for the critical needs of people with MS.

Canadian comedian and actor Russell Peters is selling his two-story Malibu home for $11,950,000. The home is listed by Desiree Zuckerman of Rodeo Realty Calabasas. Her listing has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, The Real Deal and LuxuryRealEstate.com. Most recently, the home has been featured in Architectural DigestVariety and Realtor.com. DIGS Magazine also published an article on the property Friday.

Actor-comedian Ray Romano has sold his Woodland Hills home. Rodeo Realty’s Desiree Zuckerman represented the buyer.

The sale made news in the Los Angeles Times and The Real Deal LA on Wednesday. The LA Times reports that the “Everybody loves Raymond” actor sold his home for $1.025 million.

The single-story house sits on about half and acre with a swimming pool, a fire pit and a built-in barbeque. In all there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master suite has a sliding glass door that opens to a covered patio.

Romano, 58, has appeared on the TV shows “The King of Queens,” “Men of a Certain Age” and, most recently, HBO series “Vinyl.” He has won three Emmys for “Everybody Loves Raymond,” including two for outstanding comedy series.

On Wednesday, The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals San Fernando held an event that featured women who are making a difference in the real estate industry.

One of the featured guest speakers was Desiree Zuckerman of Rodeo Realty. The Calabasas agent was one of four women chosen to speak at the event.

With more than 20 years in the real estate industry, NAHREP San Fernando believes Zuckerman is a great example of a woman who has worked endless hours and has never given up on her goals.

‘Empowering Women in Real Estate’ was held at the Sheraton Universal Studios. During the event, Zuckerman shared her stories and her journey as a real estate agent. According to the association, this event was put together to help others become the ‘empowered women they were destined to be.’
