5. Dance/DJ Nights at Grand Park

The Music Center’s Dance DTLA takes place at Grand park and will continue through September 1. Dance Downtown takes place every other Friday night and is from 7 – 11 p.m. DJ Nights runs every other Friday as well and goes from 9 p.m. – 12 a.m. -> More information

6. Sunday Sessions at Grand Park

Grand Park offers a free dance party one Sunday per month. Two dates remain to pay tribute to L.A.’s house music scene: August 21 and September 17. -> More information

7. KCRW Summer Nights

13. GinCITY at Greenbar Distillery

August 27: Greenbar Distillery will open its doors and showcase its latest, CITY Bright Gin. Car Free San Fernando Valley Day–May 4

Take the challenge this weekend and participate in ‘Car Free San Fernando Valley’ a collaborative event sponsored by non-profit organizations, local businesses, schools, and local government to urge people to walk, bike, carpool, or take public transit on May 4th, 2014 and explore how easy it is to use alternative transportation.

Events include early morning yoga along the LA River Greenway in Studio City, the “May The Forest Be With You” bicycle ride, and scavenger hunt.  Pledge to go car free for the day and you will be entered into a prize raffle and receive an all-day discount from participating restaurants and businesses.
