The estate in Toluca Lake belonged to famous jazz trumpeter, Manny Klein, who played with notable 1930s big band leaders including Jimmy Dorsey, Tommy Dorsey and Benny Goodman. Klein appeared on countless number of recordings and also performed on Hollywood movie soundtracks, most notably “From Here to Eternity.”

Though Klein was not the only famous person to lounge in the estate. It’s rumored that Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra sipped cocktails at the bar in the main house and is where Bing Crosby arranged his famous rendition of “White Christmas.”

The gated mini-estate also belonged to American pop group Karmin. The recently married duo, Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan, is known for their covers of popular songs such as “Super Bass” and “Party Rock Anthem.” The Noonan’s were the sellers to Ono’s newest home. Carter represented the couple in their recent sell.

Ono is now the owner of a 2,378 sq ft main house, an approximately 2,000 sq ft guesthouse, and a town with a bank, store and café façade complete with sidewalks and street lamps.

The all brick main house features 4 bedrooms, 3 newly remodeled baths and a charming vintage kitchen. The detached guesthouse sits on more than half an acre. Rodeo Realty’s Joe Babajian lists a Historic Hollywood Hills Home

This newly remodeled 4,200-square-foot home in the Hollywood Hills has been home to many different celebrities for almost 100 years.

In 1931, Bela Lugosi, famous for playing the original “Count Dracula”, purchased the home. Ten years later, in the 1940’s Martha O’Driscoll, coincidentally also known for a Dracula movie, “House of Dracula”, moved into the home. She sold it in 1950 to Frank Sinatra shortly after his marriage to Ava Gardner who made it their first home together.

Located in the gated community of Outpost Estates, the home has just been remodeled and neighbors with residents just as famous as the past owners, Charlize Theron, Salma Hayek, and Ben Stiller to name a few.

Some of the features of the home include a brand new kitchen, pocket sliding doors between the living room and patio to make it one giant living space, and gray-stained French oak floors.

The master bedroom on the third floor has a patio and is accompanied by two other bedrooms. The lower level is a full guest suite.

This historic Hollywood home with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms is listed for $4.95 million by our own Joe Babajian.
