Rodeo Realty Helped Sponsor 1,000 Meals For Hope Of The Valley Rescue Mission

20131127_125217Rodeo Realty agents were hard at work over the Thanksgiving holiday and they weren’t just selling houses (although there was plenty of that as well). Rodeo Realty helped Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission serve over 1,000 Thanksgiving Meals last week! Many of the agents in our Valley offices volunteered their time to help serve and prepare meals.

Agents from the Sunset Strip office were also busy on Thanksgiving, giving of their time and money so that young adults at the Youth Center on Highland could have the joy of a real Thanksgiving dinner.

This time of year can be tough for so many people, Rodeo Realty agents are happy to help out across the Southland with toy drives, clothing drives, donations, and volunteering–it’s all part of being involved in local communities.

Rodeo Realty Agent Jay Geisenheimer Named As A Director Of The Burbank Association of Realtors

Jay and Casanova photo #2 for 2nd biz cardRodeo Realty Equestrian Estates Director Jay Geisenheimer has been named to serve as a director for the Burbank Board of Realtors. She will be  on the Board of Directors for 2014 and 2015 and is being installed at a luncheon on December 5. She has also served on the Legislative Committee and the Education Committee, bringing in  some very good education classes to the association with the help of Rodeo Realty Studio City Manager Wendy Cox.

Rodeo Realty Brentwood Serves Meals At OPCC

It’s a tradition that has resonance for real estate agents who are at work every day in local communities. This week Rodeo Realty Brentwood donated money to feed needy families for a whole week at OPCC, a total of 3,750 meals! They served meals on Monday November 25. OPCC helps their clients rebuild their lives after foreclosure, illness, job loss, and other hardship.

Two Rodeo Realty Properties Featured On LA Confidential Magazine's Blog

Mulholland10This week two Rodeo Realty properties in the Hollywood Hills were featured on the LA Confidential Magazine blog. Leading off the story was 7080 W Mulholland which is being represented by Jennifer Winchell. The article said that the home “epitomizes contemporary luxury in every way,” calling special attention to “dazzling infinity pool.”

The story also featured 8027 Floral Avenue which is represented by Roger Perry and Alla Vinnik. The story made note of the home’s awe-inspiring views and drew attention to the third level of the home which  “boasts a full bar, private sauna, a pool bath, and an expansive deck looking over the city.”

Rodeo Realty Brentwood Rodeo Realty will be donating money to feed needy families for a whole week through OPCC, a network of shelters and services for low-income and homeless youth, adults and families, battered women and their children and people living with mental illness.. That adds up to 3,750 meals! They will also be serving meals on Monday November 25.

Rodeo Realty Sunset Strip is hosting Thanksgiving Dinner for 40 kids on Thanksgiving Day at the Center’s PROGRAM FOR HOMELESS YOUTH in Hollywood.

Rodeo Realty Northridge supported the Hope Of The Valley Rescue Mission Thanksgiving Event and will also participate n the  Hope Of The Valley Rescue Mission Clothing Drive.

Rodeo Realty Northridge supports the Hathaway Sycamores Adopt A Family Program–They have been assigned three families in need to provide Christmas gifts, meals, trees, etc.

On December 8 Rodeo Realty will participate in the Walk of Ages Los Angeles to benefit the Jewish Home For The Aged. Rodeo Realty is the sponsor for the 15th year.

Rodeo Realty supports the Connections for Children Holiday Angels Program. They are having a Toy Drive from now through December 16th.

Rodeo Realty Agents Adrienne Kessler and Michael Bergin Sell Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Studio City Home

13-697883_0As the LA Times reported,  actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who stars on the Miami mobster series “Magic City,” has sold his Mediterranean-style home in Studio City for $2.115 million.  Adrienne Kessler and Michael Bergin were the listing agents. The five-bedroom home was built in 2008 and features wainscoting, beamed ceilings, wrought-iron stair railings and balconies. The family room opens into a tranquil backyard with a pool and outdoor fireplace. The home is completely private and has an extensive security system and sound system throughout. It sold for $2.115 million.

 

Rodeo Realty Agent Barbra Stover Sells Downtown Julie Brown's Marina Del Rey Home

dsc_2772Rodeo Realty agent Barbra Stover recently facilitated the sale of the Marina del Rey home of former MTV host Downtown Julie Brown. Brown and her Marina del Rey home were featured in an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap during the summer of 2012. The five-bedroom canal front home has views of Catalina, ocean, canal, mountains and city lights. The home is full of unique architectural details including vaulted ceilings and a dining room with an acrylic transparent floor. One of the best features is the enormous roof top area w/hot tub, built in BBQ & plenty of space for stargazing.

When the property was listed it garnered media attention. The property was highlighted on the Huffington Post in their Celebrity Homes section. The home has beautiful views of the canals and ocean. Says the Huffington Post: “The multi-story abode is incredibly spacious thanks to vaulted ceilings, crisp white walls and stunning windows.” The property was also highlighted by PopSugar.com where editor Miranda Jones called attention to the home’s “incredible views.”
