The 15th annual Mayors Luncheon was held at the Warner Marriott on September 18th.
BEVRLY HILLS, Calif (October 11, 2019)- Rodeo Realty’s Lou Woolf who serves on the Board of Directors for Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce attended the exclusive event. Sponsored by the United Chambers of Commerce, Lou spent the afternoon amongst other members of the SFV community, along with Mayor Garcetti of course.
The event is an opportunity four council members to meet the Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and enjoy a lunch while having the opportunity to network and meet other business leaders in the San Fernando Valley.
About 400 people appeared at the Warner Center, on which Mayor Garcetti deemed the luncheon “a moment to pause and punctuate.” Continuing on to say that “the San Fernando Valley, where I am from, is the beating heart of this great city.”
Mayor Garcetti wrapped up the event leaving the audience feeling good about the achievements of North Los Angeles and, by extension, Greater Los Angeles as it heads toward attracting people from all over the world with major sporting events, such as the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Olympics. “We will succeed…and build a strong economy,” he said.
