Rodeo Realty collect donations to help those affected by Harvey

The Houston Help for Harvey collection drive, put together by Rodeo Realty’s Todd Jones and his friend Greg Zekowski, was a success!

The collection ended Tuesday and the donations were amazing!

All donations collected at the Rodeo Realty Studio City office were loaded onto a truck, which was donated by Galpin Studio Rentals.

The truck headed to Operation Gratitude in Calabasas, a non-profit, volunteer-based organization, who annually distributes 250,000+ care packages to U.S. service members and are currently helping those who were affected by Harvey.

Thanks to Rodeo Realty’s support as well as the support of many individuals, groups, and companies, Operation Gratitude was able to send out their first truckload of 10 pallets on Thursday and have scheduled another 39 pallets to ship next Tuesday morning!

“I was truly amazed at how many Rodeo Agents and neighbors contributed to the cause,” said Todd Jones. “I hope that the good folks that suffered from Harvey find some relief with the donations.”

Rodeo Realty thanks everyone who took part in helping and putting together the collection drive. Thanks to those who donated!

Towards the end of 2016, Rodeo Realty teamed up with Assemblymember Matt Dababneh to help Farmers Insurance’s “Suits for Soldiers” program.

For an entire month, all Rodeo Realty offices in Los Angeles and in the San Fernando Valley area became drop off locations and collected donated suits to help active duty military personnel transition to civilian work and life.

Thanks to everyone’s donations and efforts, Assemblymember Dababneh collected more than 450 suits.

On Monday, many veterans were invited to the Farmers Insurance headquarters in Woodland Hills to select a gently used suit to wear for their first day on the job.

“Initially, the goal was to collect 45 suits from residents in the 45th Assembly District,” Dababneh told the Los Angeles Daily News. “However, due to the incredible amount of support from members of the community, we were able to collect over 450 suits and outfits which will benefit local veterans.”

Rodeo Realty is happy to help support veterans who have bravely served our country.

Rodeo Realty’s Northridge office is brightening the holidays for many adults and children this year and granting many holiday wishes.

The office adopted three needy families through Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services. A total of four adults and 10 children will be receiving many items from their wish list thanks to several agents from the Northridge office. Each family will also be receiving a Christmas tree with decorations.

To make this possible, agents donated money to purchase the gifts for the families and also worked together to wrap each gift.

The office is happy to continue helping families each year and hopes to bring joy to three families this holiday season!

Rodeo Realty collecting donations to help West Valley Food Pantry

thepantrydonations

The West Valley Food Pantry is preparing for its annual Holiday Toy Drive. This year’s drive will be Saturday, December 17.

To help with donations, all Rodeo Realty offices have become drop off locations. From now until December 14, donations to help the Pantry can be dropped off at any Rodeo Realty office.

The Pantry is asking for donations of gift cards, toys, board games, electronics, sports equipment and bags, cologne, makeup, costume jewelry, perfume, face/body lotions, nail products, clothing, etc.

Donations of unwrapped, new gifts can also be dropped off at the Pantry (5700 Rudnick Ave in Woodland Hills) before December 15. The organization receives many toys for young children, but few are received for older boys and girls. Please consider bringing a gift for a teenage child. Gift cards of $20-$30 amounts are especially popular with this age.

Rodeo Realty is also helping the Pantry with food donations. The organization feeds the hungry, helps unemployed residents, the working poor, the homeless, and those living on fixed incomes. In order to continue their work of feeding almost 3,000 people per month, the Pantry also needs food donations. To view preferred and needed food items, view the flyer below.
