On Sunday, August 27, the Pacific Palisades community will gather to show their appreciation for the honor, sacrifice, and commitment the local fire fighters and police officers have made to the area.
The event will be held at the Chabad Jewish Community Center and will be from 4 – 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy some great BBQ and entertainment for te entire family.
Rodeo Realty is showing their appreciation towards the firefighters and police officers, and co-sponsoring the “Palisades Community Gratitude BBQ” event.
Fire fighters from Palisades Stations 69 and 23, as well as police officers of the LAPD assigned to the Palisades, will be in attendance.
The event is being hosted by Chabad and the Palisades Jewish Early Childhood Center.
The LA Taco Festival 2017 is just around the corner!
On Saturday, August 26, prepare for the Downtown Los Angeles Festival at Grand Park from 12 – 8 p.m.
This isn’t just a great excuse to eat some of the planet’s most tasteful food, it’s also for a great cause! All proceeds from this event will go towards housing solutions for homeless youth.
A few vendors in attendance will be Kogi, Tacos La Estrella, Danny’s Tacos, Pink Taco, Thai Mex Cocina, The Shrimp & Taco Shop, and plenty more! The festival is expected to have more than 20 vendors, plus great music!
Admission to the seventh annual event is free. You just have to pay for the tacos you decide to eat. Have fun!
One of the nations top realtors, Desiree Zuckerman, and global stand-up star Russell Peters are hosting a charity event to raise money and awareness for MS. The event will be held at Peters’ palatial 10,000 sq. ft. Malibu estate.
The exclusive charity open house will benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Attendees will enjoy delicious food, raffle prizes, great music, clothing and jewelry shops, and complimentary yoga at sunset.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation estimates that more than 400,000 people in the United States and about 2.5 million people around the world have MS. About 200 new cases are diagnosed each week in the United States.
All proceeds raised at the charity event will help MS Focus continue providing for the critical needs of people with MS.
The annual Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival kicked off April 26. Now in its twelfth year, the festival ran through May 3.
The 2017 festival would not be possible without the tireless work of sponsors and volunteers, such as Marge Chirchick of Rodeo Realty Beverly Hills. Marge has proudly been the Festival Co-Chair now for several years, and is an integral part of the festival family, with an emphasis on fundraising, event managing, film introductions, and on-going planning for festival week and the many special screenings year-round.

The Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival (LAJFF) builds community awareness, appreciation and pride in the diversity of the Jewish people through film.
The 2017 festival brought 28 films from around the world to eager audiences and attracted major celebrities, as well as World Premiere and Los Angeles Premiere screening events. Legendary actor, Ed Asner was honored at the Opening Night with two films shown, “Super Sex” and “My Friend Ed.” World famous indie-film director, Henry Jaglom had a sold out screening for his new film, “Train To Zakopane”. Rama Burshtein, famous Israeli director, arrived in person to talk about her latest film, “The Wedding Plan” – another sold out show for this LA Premiere. The festival continued award-winning films such as “Menashe” and “Bye Bye Germany”, two films that came to Los Angeles as Premieres following their debuts at the prestigious Berlinale and Sundance Film Festivals. LAJFF closed with a historical look at Los Angeles when the documentary “Restoring Tomorrow” was screened on May 3rd as the festival’s closing film.
The Jewish National Fund held its Israel luncheon for women on Thursday.

This year, the luncheon included a special Q&A with Sherry Lansing, founder and CEO of The Sherry Lansing Foundation and co-founder of Stand Up To Cancer.
Lansing was the first woman to head a major film studio when she was appointed President of 20th Century Fox in 1980. In 1992, she was named Chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures. During nearly 30 years in the motion picture business, Lansing was involved in the production, marketing, and distribution of more than 200 films, including Academy Award winners Forrest Gump, Braveheart, and Titanic.
On Thursday, March 23, 2017, Rodeo Realty held it’s annual awards luncheon at Duke’s Malibu. Hundreds of agents were awarded with plaques and recognized for their 2016 achievements. In addition to being recognized last week, agents will also be featured in the Los Angeles Times this Saturday in the ‘Hot Property’ section.

Rodeo Realty Calabasas is a proud supporter of Comfort for Court Kids and is hosting another fundraising event this year to help the charity.
Calabasas Rodeo Realty agent, Ioanna Kamar and Anne Marie Sheridan will hold the annual fundraiser Friday, December 16 at 33 Sage Lane in Bell Canyon. The event will be from 4 – 8 p.m. and will include wine, food, and lots of fun!
A tax-deductible donation of $25 dollars per person is suggested. Checks can be made out to “Comfort for Court Kids, Inc”.
“Comfort For Court Kids” provides emotional support for children under the jurisdiction of the dependency court. The ‘Teddy Bear’ is the symbol for the charity, and has long been associated with assisting these children in feeling safe, secure and to once again form stable bonds with those around them. “Comfort for Court Kids” is a 501 (c)(3) publicly supported charity founded in 1992 by attorney L. Ernestine Fields. It was done so for the specific mission of helping abused and neglected children cope with their experiences in dependency court.
Rodeo Realty is not only sponsoring Hope of the Valley’s Thanksgiving luncheon event this year, but they are also sponsoring the rescue mission’s Drumstick Dash.
The company is one of the sponsors to the 5K & 10K Walk/Run, which will take place Thanksgiving morning at CBS Studios in Studio City.
This year Hope of the Valley anticipates to have more than 2,000 participants. The new course will take runners, joggers, and walkers through the iconic streets of CBS Studios, then it is off the studio lot and onto Colfax St. where participants will be greeted by cheering crowds and three DJ’s pumping the tunes!
All proceeds of this annual event will provide holiday meals and housing to those experiencing homelessness.

This year, The Laurel Foundation celebrated its 20 years hosting their Golf Tournament.
Rodeo Realty took part in the annual event by being a sponsor of the tournament. As a sponsor, Rodeo Realty helped The Laurel Foundation’s fundraising goal of $100,000, which goes towards helping more than 500 inner city, at-risk children and their families affected by HIV/AIDS to attend The Laurel Foundation’s program.
Their programs tackle the emotional and social challenges of HIV/AIDS by constructing environments that support the mental and physical welfare of the participants. Their programs give participants the tools to build self-sufficient, productive, and healthy lives.
This year’s Golf Tournament was hosted at the elite El Caballero Country Club, one of the most exclusive golf clubs in Southern California.
The event started with a continental breakfast and proceeded with golfers being sent off on the par 71 championship course with their own personal caddy in a golf cart equipped with a GPS system.
At each hole, golfers were greeted by drink and food sponsors (vodka, tequila, beer etc.) and had a chance to win prizes at skills contests set up throughout the course.
The event ended with a fully catered after party with hosted bar, silent auction, and awards show.
