Josh Flagg receives Ambassador Award

The Bravo star and Rodeo Realty Top Producer receives recognition for his philanthropic work.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif (May 9, 2019)-Mr. Flagg is at it again. Not with his vloggs (although they are worth the watch as a weekly treat), but as an impressive community member. A born and raised Angeleno, Josh Flagg has always made it a point to give back to his community. It should therefor come as no surprise that earlier in the year he was presented with the Ambassador Award by the Guardians of Los Angeles Jewish Home at their 80th celebration.

The mission of the Guardians is to provide financial support for seniors and needy members of the Jewish community served by the Los Angeles Jewish Home, through residential and community-based programs. The organization was founded in 1938 by a handful of volunteers.

The event, dubbed “1938: A Comedy Night for the Ages,” drew more than 650 attendees and raised over $630,000, said Jessi Cazary, manager of the Guardians.

Josh currently serves on the ‘Guardians’ executive board. Along with his contributions to the ‘Guardians’ Josh also sits on the Board of Governors for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Josh and his husband, Bobby Boyd, also a top-producing Rodeo Realty agent, founded The Josh Flagg and Bobby Boyd Family Foundation to continue support of many different causes especially locally in Los Angeles.

It is through their ongoing philanthropic endeavors and presence as LA residents and top-producing agents that their impact can be seen throughout and even beyond Los Angeles.

Ben Bacal Reps Myspace Co-Founder for New Weho Digs

MySpace Co-Founder Tom Anderson finds Weho Home with Rodeo Realty’s Ben Bacal as the Buying Agent.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif(April 26, 2019 )-We all know Tom from Myspace (well anyone born before the year 2000). Ben Bacal of Rodeo realty recently closed sale with Tom Anderson on his new West Hollywood abode. Mr. Anderson purchased the home from the Chainsmokers Drew Taggart last week and the deal has already garnered press attention.

The home was built in 2016 and stuns architecturally with slick features, open spaces and 4,758 square feet of living space. The LA Times picked up the story and described the home as an “open-concept space, awash in shades of gray”. Rodeo Realty Ranks High on Real Trends The 500 List for 2018

Pulling in top rankings for the year, Rodeo Realty continues to emerge as a top producer in real estate.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (April 24, 2019)- This week REAL Trends released their highly anticipated “The 500 Residential Real Estate” list for 2018. Rodeo Realty held it’s place in some of the top rankings with the #17 spot for Average Sales Price and the #27 spot in both the Billionaires’ Club and the largest brokerages by volume.

Aptly titled “The 500”, the list is comprised of the leaders in residential real estate across the United States. The accolades are a true accomplishment during what was considered one of the tougher real estate quarters heading into the new year. With a total sales volume of $4,908,093,531 in 2018, Rodeo Realty showcased an impressive year-end average out of thousands of other competing brokerages.

“A record 1,757 firms qualified this year. The results-turned in by the firms on this year’s REAL Trends 500-showed that the nation’s leading realty firms outperformed the market, proving that size and leadership do matter.”

These transactions represent over one-third of all new and resale transactions completed by brokers during the year. The 500-ranked brokers closed nearly 3.3 million home transactions with a value of nearly $1.2 trillion during 2018, up from $1.1 trillion in the calendar year 2017.

The 500 top firms by sides and volume will be published in REAL Trends’ acclaimed magazine. This year’s survey represents the most comprehensive collection of data assembled on the leaders of the residential brokerage industry. Numbers are documented by outside accounting firms and/or MLS reports.

South Park creator repped by Oren Barkan nabs Adi Livyatan’s Brentwood listing

It has been an outstanding month for our agents! In what is a double feat for the company, as many outlets reported Rodeo Realty agents repped the seller and buyer for the $6.2 million purchase by South Park creator, Trey Parker.

Los Angeles Times was one of the first publications to report on the sale of the 4-bedroom and 4.5 bathroom estate.

The luxurious listing held by Adi Livyatan of Rodeo Realty Encino was picked up this month by Trey Parker.

Oren Barkan of Rodeo Realty Beverly Hills was the buying agent for Parker on his purchase of the Brentwood Estate.

Nadia Emelia list Alice Eve’s Hollywood Dell Home

Rodeo Realty’s Nadia Emelia has listed British Actress Alice Eve’s Hollywood Home.

The listing recently received coverage in Variety’s Real Estate column-Real Estalker which highlighted the homes stylish features. The 1,230 Square foot 1940’s bungalow is on the market for $1.5 million.

LA’s Best Comedy Clubs

April is National Humor Month, but here in LA we can have a good laugh all year round. With famed comedy clubs like The Laugh Factory or the Comedy Store, there is no shortage of humor. So have a laugh today or any day of the week with our round-up below of LA’s best Comedy Clubs!

The Comedy Store

Location: 8433 W. Sunset Blvd., W. Hollywood, CA, USA

The Store was started by comedian Sammy Shore and his wife Mitzi, parents of Pauly Shore. At the original location on the Sunset Strip, the Belly and Main rooms feature lesser-known talents, while the Original Room hosts frequent visits from nationally recognized comedians. Many famous faces have graced the stage at The Store – Dave Chappelle, Chelsea Peretti, Gallagher, Judy Tenuta, Andrew Dice Clay, Leslie Jones, Andy Kaufman, and Chris Rock, just to name a few.
